MHBC is a community of broken people who know that our only hope is Jesus Christ. It would be our joy to warmly welcome you into our community and share that same hope with you. Join us any Sunday morning at 11 am. We look forward to meeting you!

What to Expect

Our main gathering starts at 11:00am on Sunday morning, and it typically ends around 12:30pm.

You'll find people wearing collared shirts or dresses, as well as t-shirts and jeans. Come in whatever you feel comfortable in!

We try to maintain an atmosphere of joyful reverence as we gather around the Word of God: singing the Word, praying the Word, preaching the Word, reading the Word, and "seeing" the Word through baptism and the Lord's supper.

We seek to be built up and shaped by God’s Word each week by sitting under teaching that explains and applies a specific passage of Scripture to our lives and also helps us rejoice together in the Good News of Jesus.

We sing a mix of old and new songs that help us remember and celebrate the Gospel in a simple way that highlights the congregation’s voice.

We devote a significant portion of our gathering to praying together, most often with different members of our church leading us in prayer.

We want to help parents and grandparents point their children to Jesus, so we encourage families to worship together and we welcome the noises they bring (really!). But we do understand that it takes time to train kids to participate in a worship gathering, so we provide a kids’ class for birth through Pre-K from the start of the sermon to until the end of the service.

Sunday Evening Prayer

On Sunday evenings at 6:15pm we come together at one of our members' houses in order to pray for God's help and the display of His glory from our church to the ends of the earth. This time has a "family feel" to it and is a rich time of fellowship.

Equipping Classes

Each Sunday morning at 9:30 am we meet in classes to be equipped to be and make disciples. We have classes for kids and students of all ages, as well as an adult group. We’ll help you find the right place when you arrive.

<span style="font-weight:400">Monthly Breakfast</span> Fellowship

Monthly Breakfast Fellowship

The first Sunday of each month at 9:30 am, instead of our discipleship classes, we all gather together for a potluck style breakfast. Sometimes we hear from and pray for Gospel-partners serving in other places, sometimes we just enjoy time together (but we always enjoy the food!)

Wednesday Night Bible Study

On Wednesay nights at 6:30pm, we gather for an inductive Bible study. During this time we look at a passage of Scripture, making observations about it, discussing how to interpet the meaning of the biblical authors, and determine how to apply it to our lives. Come early at 5:45pm for a bring-your-own-dinner meal!
